Management Commitment

Seit der Firmengründung im Jahre 2001 erbringt die Getronic Engineering AG diverse Dienstleistungen in der Herstellung von elektronischen Systemen. Dabei basieren wir uns meist auf den Spezifikationen unserer Auftraggeber (customer products).

Wir verpflichten uns, die uns gestellten Anforderungen hinsichtlich Fertigungs-Qualität, Lieferterminen und Flexibilität vollständig zu erfüllen.
Wir sind bemüht, Fertigungsprozesse zu optimieren und entsprechende Methoden für neue Systeme zu erarbeiten.
Unser Qualitätsmanagementsystem wird von unseren Kunden periodisch auditiert und als ausgezeichnet bezeichnet.
Mögliche Qualitätsmängel an Materialien, die uns von anderen Lieferanten unserer Auftraggeber zugeliefert werden, wollen wir rechtzeitig durch eine strenge Eingangsprüfung erkennen.
Unsere Mitarbeiter werden für die geforderten Prozesse ausführlich geschult und durch ihre Vorgesetzten kontrolliert.
Zur Förderung unserer Grundsätze, insbesondere derjenigen der Unternehmens Sozialverantwortung, führen wir eine offene und regelmässige Diskussion mit unseren Mitarbeitenden mit dem Ziel, dass sich unsere Kunden langfristig auf uns verlassen können.

Declaration on the Use of Conflict Minerals (Dodd-Frank Act)

Reports of human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) regarding the mining of minerals, particularly tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), tin (Sn), and gold (Au) have caused public concern and unrest worldwide.

In July 2010, the United States Congress made the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Regulation and Consumer Protection Act law, regulating the use of conflict minerals (tantalum, tungsten, tin, gold) from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Dodd-Frank Act, Section 1502 legislation requires U.S. publicly traded companies to disclose annually to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) whether their products contain conflict minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries.
Getronic Engineering AG complies with all national laws and regulations. We also act accordingly to comply with the Dodd-Frank Act Section 1502.

Getronic Products:
According to currently available information, we do not use conflict minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) or its neighbouring countries in our own products (Getronic products). From almost 100% of the manufacturers and suppliers whose commercial goods and special components we use, we have received the questionnaire about conflict material or a corresponding confirmation.

Customer Products:
As a service provider for the production of electronic systems (Electronics Manufacturing Services), the manufacturers are usually defined to us by the customer or the materials (merchandise, special components, etc.) are delivered to us. For customer products (Customer Products) we cannot assume any obligation regarding the Dodd-Frank Act Section 1502. Should we identify critical manufacturers in this respect, we will try to find a joint solution together with the customer in accordance with the Dodd-Frank Act.
